Hand drizzling Greek vinaigrette over a salad

When it comes to salad dressings, vinaigrettes are a great option. They’re full of flavor, but very simple to make.

This tasty Greek vinaigrette is one of my favorites! With the combination of tart lemon, pungent garlic, aromatic oregano, and vibrant red wine vinegar, this easy recipe doesn’t skimp on the flavor.

I promise this homemade version is tastier than anything you can find at the store. Plus, you don’t have to worry about any added sugar, sodium, fillers, or preservatives.

The beauty of homemade vinaigrette is that you can control exactly what goes in it. Plus, it’s probably faster to whip up this vinaigrette right at home than it is to run to your local store!

What to eat with this vinaigrette

I always make this recipe when I find myself craving a Greek salad, like this Greek salad with chicken. It’s perfect over some leafy greens with cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, and a little feta!

It’s also great for dipping raw veggies. When you’re not super hungry but just in the mood for something crunchy, this really hits the spot.

Finally, you can use it as a marinade for vegetables, chicken breast, pork loin, and more! With such a vibrant and versatile flavor, it’s hard to go wrong.

Storage

Your vinaigrette can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to a week. I recommend putting it in a screw-top jar for convenience.

Before serving, be sure to shake it up as the ingredients are likely to separate in the refrigerator!
