Spray a 7-ounce ramekin or small ovenproof bowl with nonstick cooking spray.
Place the bread in the ramekin and sprinkle the cheese on top.
¾ cup day-old bread, 2 tablespoons grated cheese
In a measuring cup, combine the milk, egg, seasoning, and salt and pepper. Whisk everything together, then pour over the bread and cheese in the ramekin.
⅓ cup milk, 1 large egg, ⅛ teaspoon seasoning blend, Kosher salt, Freshly ground black pepper
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Remove the strata from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
Place the ramekin on a small baking pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the strata is set.
