Pesto Holiday Crackers
Easy-to-make festive holiday crackers
Servings:16 servings
Ingredients
- 12 ounce package wonton wrappers about 48
- ¼ cup 5-Minute Homemade Pesto or prepared pesto
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line three baking sheets with parchment paper (or line one at a time and make three batches).
- Cover the stack of wonton wrappers with a damp paper towel to keep them from drying out while you work. Place a wonton wrapper on a cutting board. Press a cookie cutter firmly into the wonton wrapper. (You may need to place it diagonally.) Hold the cookie cutter in place and remove the excess dough from around the edges. Remove the cutter and place the shape on the baking sheet. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
- Brush each shape with pesto. You'll want a very thin layer or your crackers will be oily.
- Bake for about 6 minutes, then rotate your pan. Bake another 3 minutes or so until the crackers are golden brown around the edges.
- Let cool, then store in an airtight container.

Bless you for creating this site! I was diagnosed type 2 diabetes about three months ago. I have gone to so many places on the internet looking for the easiest answers to how to eat healthy as a diabetic. I’m not a natural cook. Your website is the best! Diabetic foodie gives me a choice of recipes for every meal, every occasion. I choose what sounds yummy to me and at the bottom of the recipe is the nutritional information. So now I can cook something yummy & I know what time & how much I should eat. Of course I have already researched information on diabetic eating regarding carbs & what spikes blood sugar when eaten at the wrong time, etc. I just apply this information to the nutritional info at the bottom of the recipe & enjoy the magic you have been kind enough to share with me & all diabetics. So gracious of you to share! Thank you!
Vicki – Thank you so much for the kind words!
