These 2-ingredient grilled peaches make an amazing side or even dessert! If you already have the grill out, do yourself a favor and throw a few on.

2-Ingredient Grilled Peaches on a cutting board next to olive oil and a grill brush

Have you ever tried grilled fruit? Similar to baking (or any other method of cooking that involves heat), it causes the natural sugars to caramelize. But it also adds a wonderful smokiness you can’t get from the oven.

If you haven’t tried it before, do yourself a favor and whip up a batch of these 2-ingredient grilled peaches! All you need are peaches and olive oil.

And the process couldn’t be easier, especially if you already have the grill out. Simply slice the peaches, brush with olive oil, and throw them on the grill.

The result is an amazingly delicious way to enjoy this summer fruit. It’s perfect as a side or even as a dessert!

How to make grilled peaches

Ready to see just how simple this 2-ingredient recipe is to make?

Step 1: Preheat a gas grill to medium heat.

Step 2: Cut each peach in half along its seam, then twist to separate. Remove the pit.

Step 3: Brush each peach half with a ½ tablespoon of olive oil.

Step 4: Place the peaches cut-side down on the grill.

Step 5: Cook the peach halves for about 4 minutes without moving, then flip and cook for another 4 minutes.

That’s it! You can choose to slip off the skins, or leave them on and eat your peaches as-is.

Ways to enjoy your peaches

These peaches are so delicious, I usually eat them plain right off the grill! But there are a few different ways to enjoy them.

They’re wonderful as a side with grilled chicken or pork tenderloin. Depending on what seasoning you used for the meat, you may want to sprinkle a little rosemary or basil on the peach halves.

You could also chop them into smaller slices and toss them in a salad. They add such a delicious pop of sweet flavor and are amazing with any kind of balsamic-based salad dressing.

Or enjoy them as a refreshing dessert! I like to serve mine topped with a dollop of plain yogurt or a splash of cream and a few slivered almonds. You could also season them with cinnamon, nutmeg, or a little vanilla!

Storage

These peaches are best served hot and juicy off the grill. They are simply irresistible!

But if you have any extras, definitely don’t let them go to waste. Simply store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy within a few days.
